Claimants seeking a cut of the $4 billion asbestos trust created by Pittsburgh Corning Corp.’s emergence from bankruptcy have reached a deal with the trust in Pennsylvania federal court, with the trust agreeing to pay roughly $178 million to settle the claims, pursuant to an arbitration session.
