Bankrupt telecom giant Avaya Inc. told a New York bankruptcy court Wednesday that patent infringement claims by its competitor SAE Power Inc. should be valued at $1 million in its restructuring, calling SAE’s $380 million demand a cheap contrivance “contrary to law and fact.”
